Ideal high rpm/map VE table numbers

7747 w/EBL

Ok all, I had a few other posts right at the top talking about my WBo2 woes. So Today I was playing around with the car again. I am way rich at WOT, from 2800 rpm up to shift, approx 5500 rpm. I'm talking 10.8 afr to 11.5 afr. So in an effort to lean it out, I am dropping the VE tables. I am down to 84, 85, 86 at like 3200 rpm to 4800 rpm, then dropping off to 84 @ 6000. using an vafpr, my bpc for 0 VAC is 72, FP is 22psi WOT.

My question here is, is there an ideal limit for the VE table numbers, i.e, should I try and keep the upper RPM/VAC in the 90's?

I know I read a few times about finding a good BPC, setting it and forgetting it. I think I got my table good in all the low RPM/MAP areas, but as I am tuning WOT, I keep dropping the VE there. I have a feeling I will be at around 79 or 80. Is this OK?

Also, is there a formula to figure out the VE number I should plug in using the logged afr, say currently a 11.9 with an 84 VE, but I want to get 12.8, what should the VE be?

And if I do need to drop the BPC, to get the VE table numbers up, is there a formula for that. Say I had 72 BPC at 0 VAC, 4800 rpm, 84 VE. I drop the BPC to 70, do I guess what to put in the 4800 rpm cell. I know it will be a bigger number, but is the a way to figure it out or just guess the log it? Is it a global change?

Sorry for the silly questions, just trying to save some time. I've been driving around with a WB that is NFG, and I have been wondering all this time if I was lean or rich, it seemed rich, but I couldn't really tell. I have a almost 10:1 vortec headed 350 with a decent cam, built after the GM vortec 330, so this is why the FP is cranked up and the 90 PPH injectors are on it.

I assume the WB is free air calibrated and the A/F it shows are accurrate. I believe my LM-1 is very accurrate. I think I calibrate it once a month but dont see it waver much.

Since you have more than adequate fueling I would consider dropping the fuel pressure a bit and reset the BPC and see what that does to PE A/F. What is the duty cycle at WOT? I am running 80 lbs at 18-19 lbs FP and seeing low 12's for WOT PE A/F commanded to 12.7/1 last time I ran WOT. Now there are not many places I can run WOT safely.

Yup, did all that a few days ago. That's when I left the logworks running and found out my WOT AFR was so rich. The numbers for WOT weren't matching the displayed numbers in the WUD. It took waaaayyyy to many times to reprogram the LC-1 to 1v = 10AFR and 5v = 20AFR. Now I am creeping in on the WOT fueling tune( I tough I was there already along time ago )

I have the FP jacked up to 22/23 psi WOT in anticipation of forced induction after the summer. I've been working with this high FP and haven't had any idle or part throttle issues whatsoever, that I didn't tune out that is. It's just I wanted to be sure my high rpm/map ve can be in the low 80's. I don't want the computer to have brainfarts on me because it should be in the 90's.

MY DC was about 86-89%, but that was with a 10.9:1 AFR.

Here is where I am at, and I am still rich at the top end.
