Are these still being made? I tried out the speedtronics website but it was gone. If not is there a comprable product to use instead?

 

Yes they are still being made. E mailed Bill, his server is down and he is getting over the Flu.

i tried emailing thru the speedtronics website but i never got a reply. i don't want to just paypal 200$ without being able to get ahold of somebody.



anyone got a working e mail or know the lead time of getting one if i did just order thru the site that may or may not work?

This is a part time job (low volume sales), he has a regular job plus a wife. I ordered one and it has been a while, but I told him that I was not in a big hurry (FCFS).

I have built electronic things and Murphies Law is always lurking around.

Just wait till he can answer the email, he is very good about replies, but his server is, a bit cranky.

BTW this is the only place to get one, save building your own.

Everyone that I have ever run across seems to like them, I have never seen one for resale or heard/seen any complaints, except for the server.

I will update this post when I get mine and let you know how I like it.

oh believe me I know how good they are. I picked up a whole tuner combo from another member here that came with one and I love it, but I need another for a 2nd car. the new motor is almost ready to go in. so that's why I was trying to find out how long it will take to get.

ok so I've tried placing an order thru the site last week and it said I had to wait for an e mail with a total price in it to even pay pal the money... still haven't heard anything.





I know the guy hand builds them in his spare time and I love the one I have but I'm starting to wonder what else is out there since I don't seem to be having any luck buying one.

I already have tuner pro rt and the adl cable. what other things are out there on the market comparable to the prominator?


or what's it cost to just buy some chips and burner? I've never used anything but the prominator I have now.
