Tuning the 16168625 or change it

So I am about to drop in my new motor the spec's are as follows

93 gmc 2dr 4wd yukon
383 Full Roller Block
AFR 180 eliminator Heads 64CC chambers
screw in arp studs
1.6 Roller Rockers
Crowler Roller Cam 214/220 .507/.531
Kieth Black 18cc Dished Pistons
Scat 9000 crank
CFM-tech TB 68LB injectors (Going to 90)
Built 460E Trans

I will be using TunerProRt and the APU1 autoprom for burning and datalogging

I currently have the 16168625 in the truck now. Should I stay with it or change it. if I need to change it what would be a good easy rplacement.

Thanks for the help

Re: Tuning the 16168625 or change it

There's been a couple guys worked with that ecu on here and had success.
Get a copy of tunerpro rt, go to http://tunerpro.markmansur.com/downloadBinDefs.htm
and download the E6 stuff, you'll see it.
Then go to the DIY PROM and TBI threads and read a million times. It will start to make sense.
Also, search for the E6 threads on here. You'll find it.
I think some have updated to the next ecu and are even running them on TPI engines.
Maybe that will help.

The 8625 can be interchanged with the 6395 and the 7427 PCM. All will run the popular $0D code.
