First step cam swap ?

I want to fit a LT1 cam (Duration 230/208 Lift .450 .460) in my LO3 TBI.
What´s the first step to produce my own chip ? Which tables should be changed ? Please help me. I´ve got the tunercat software, an eprommer and the stock 88´tbi file in my computer. But I´m new with these things.

Greets Jan.

Does the stock head accept .460 lift?

First step is to datalog engine for BLM with a program such as tunerproRT or winALDL. Check the stickies for much needed info.

I dont understand the new tred since u have moste of the information in your recent one.

But I do know how much reaserch, timeconsuming and headache is involved by tuning the stock ECM.

I really suggest u get an EBL. Will make it alot easyer. Most people on here have burned over 100-500 chips to get it close to right or right. EBL is also a much faster calculator that use much more data to calculate and will allow better performance.

Miself have recieved this information when I whanted to get some prformance out of my LO3, I remember it was one of the moderators that has a 3.8 turbo, he wrote that he would not consider tbi without EBL. HE WAS RIGHT.
After 100 or more datalogs and enormous time reading in the tbi forum over 2 years Id did finally understand what he said. And got a EBL.

U happy with your performance chip? Expect to consider it a garbage chip once u get EBL to run your set up
