IAC keep alive learn param minimum temp??

What is the meaning for this? It is at location 69A in my S_aujpv4 BIN. My concern arises because my car runs at ~77°C and the setpoint for this is 85.3°C in the BIN.

wow, interesting...... I need to check on this myself

Does your idle not stable at lower temps? Try lowering it and see how the car behaves....

good luck

Re: IAC keep alive learn param minimum temp??

I'm going to try this later today once the car is back from the alignment shop.....

it suddenly has a large rpm flair at start up it didn't have before. Did the usual check for vac leaks to no avail

*joy*

Re: IAC keep alive learn param minimum temp??

well I lowered my setting by 20* and really didn't notice anything different....

however

it was somewhat warmer out, and of course it had warmed up cause I was messing with my TF settings. I'll try again tomorrow if I get my FP replaced

Re: you're an adventurer...

Alright, I got the rpm startup flair down to about 1250 or so....... still annoys me

No real change that I noticed with the change in the IAC learn stuff. I didn't datalog, just going by how the car drove.

I was about to rip the FP out of it due to the car cutting out at 3k, but found a loose battery cable at the starter.... tightened that up and all was good to go.... Guess I'll do it after my intake swap

Re: IAC keep alive learn param minimum temp??

So, lowering this temp didn't make any difference?
I have changed all my IAC & TCC codes to match the stock T-5 bin and it appeared to make a difference....seems to run much smoother.

So, other than TCC and IAC, is there some other blatantly obvious thing that would be expected to be different on a Manual vs an Auto Bin?
