what do i need? tpi..5.0 -> 5.7

can i use my stock 305/chip/comp for a 350 swap with just a few bolt ons

i plan on upping the fuel pressure with stock 19lb injectors
but idk if it will run smooth

it is on an 89 MAF bird

is there anything else i should change?
thx bill

Shouldn't use the stock 305 calibration with the 350. Also shouldn't use the 305 injectors with the 350.

However, if you use the 305 injectors with the 350, then using the 305 calibration will give the best results. But at the same time will run lean at the top end (out of fuel).

The reason for this (apparent) inconsistency is that the MAF calibrations only have an injector flow constant. There isn't a displacement constant. So a 305 calibration is set up for 19#/hr injectors. Which will work with various displacements.

If you put a 350 calibration in the engine will always run lean. If you put a set of 350 injectors in with the 305 calibration it will always run rich.

Took the long way to get here, but you should put the proper injectors in along with doing a proper calibration (tuning!!!).

you are better of using a set of 22lb or even a set of Lt124s with the 19s you will be way over the duty cycle

For the best results use 22#/hr injectors along with the MEMCAL from an f-body L98.
