How does one increase the amount of TF fuel yet keep the IAC steps same?

Re: Throttle Follower Fueling

Found it!
RBob ans Q once b4!

There is a single parameter to add fuel for an IAC opening event. It is under the AE parameters:

AE - IAC Opening Fuel

As the IAC opens this PW amount is added to the fueling.

For others reading this note that this parameter is common on TBI setups. Both the '7747 and '8746 have this same parameter. It can also be used as a secondary AE function. However, this depends upon how much throttle follower is being used in the calibration.

RBob.

Re: Throttle Follower Fueling

All the TBI cals have the IAC AE in some form or another. The easiest way to set it would be to disable the TF and set the base AE first. Then enable the TF and see how much additional AE is needed when the IAC opens along with the throttle. The additional AE will need to be added via the AE pumpshot for the IAC opening. Youll have to 'split the middle' sort of speak with the earlier ECMs as they only give you a single AE parameter. On the later 93+ computers, you actually have a whole table dedicated to the IAC AE that uses teh difference in airflow as the driving factor.

Dimented

In $0d mask (7427, BJYL) do you mean: IAC Decay Delay Multiplier vs. Airflow table ??
Location: 4EDF 5 row table?

I am collecting notes for my next conversion project - TBI vortec 383 managed by 16197427 PCM.
