PROM for 90-92 TPI in Excalibur Phaeton
Hello:
I installed a 90/91 Corvette engine and autotrans with 1227730 ECM in a 1985 Excalibur Phaeton. Excalibur went bankrupt in 1985 but somehow still made cars with TPI engines until the 90´s. Now I need the stock definition file from a 90/92 Excalibur with MAP TPI because this car weights 5200 lbs contrary to F-bodys with 3200 lbs and has a rear axle that makes the driveshaft turn 10% more. I searched already everywhere, could not find it. Can someone help?

Excalibur was made just down the block from where I worked. West Allis, WI USA.
Is there an Excalibur Forum? If so that is where I would go.
Why cant you use the stock .bin for Vette and tune it? Maybe you do not wish to?
I suspect the timing tables would need to be addressed due to weight and gearing.
Maybe someone that transplanted that engine into Hot Rod Truck will speak up.

Yes, there is a forum and a club, but Excalibur owners usually are not performance oriented, they just want to cruise slowly along. (you don´t have to go quick with an Excalibur someone told me) Furthermore, they all seem to have enough money to have their cars fixed, don´t have to do it themselves and don´t even know what to do at all on cars (except a few, Fred, should you read this) I guess. Making a PROM myself takes lot´s of time and efforts as I found out laready, a stock 90 Ecalibur BIN would be the easiest way. Hope to hear from heavy car tuners with the same axle.

7730 is used for 90 91 Y body 5.7L. I think Y Body is the CORVETTE.

Ronny, shame on you, the Y body is the Corvette. The $8D mask, as far as I know, was only used on the TPI's which came in Camaros, Firebirds (f-body's), and the Corvette.
Note that GM did use 'Tuned Port Injection' on some other lessor cars. However, they are not the same as the F & Y body 5.0l and 5.7l TPI engines.
