bin options

I am just starting my first attempt at tuning. Starting out with a 1220862 ECM from a 90 s1o blazer 4.3 auto with a AMRW bin. I was wondering if I would be better off in the long run using a bin for a 7747 ECM. Both ECM’s pin out the same so no changes to the wiring harness and there seems to be more options. Specs on the motor 3.8 v6 man tranny.

Re: bin options

You can't mix & match the BINs between these ECMs. You can swap in a '7747 ECM and then use a BIN for the same. The advantage is that the '7747 code/calibration is better known then the '8062 code/calibration.

Re: bin options

Thank you. I was almost positive that was going to be the answer. But that's my luck just soldered a g2 adapter in last night in the 8062.
