Does this exist

So I'm looking specifically at getting a 87-90 350 GTA trans am with the TPI engine. I'm looking for some sort of system that would allow me to hook up a wideband and have the car run off of that to control the fueling rather than a narrowband oxygen sensor. I know this exists for the grand nationals and turbo trans ams since I have one of those and I'm familar with those.

What type of system or software would allow for this? I'm thinking about getting rid of my TTA and getting a 350 GTA but I would only do so if the right type of tuning solution is available

The Innovate LC-1 can have one of its analog outputs programmed to simulate a narrowband. Otherwise, you'll probably have to go aftermarket.

Re: Does this exist

Code59 is the only non-aftermarket option I know of that will run in closed loop using the WBO2 for input. Otherwise as stated, the narrow band simulate mode of most WBO2 sensors would be the best option.

Code59 would take some time doing the initial tune, to get it close to then let it run in closed loop from the WBO2. It would also require changing the ECM to a '7730 or equivilant, which also means swapping from MAF to speed density.

Honestly the NBO2 does a good job for closed loop, since it's only used in part throttle accel and cruise conditions, along with idle in some applications.

Re: Does this exist

a 90 GTA would already have a 7730. make it a bit easier.
