Hi guys ! i want to know if it possible to run a 107 lsa cam with a tpi ecm ?? i know i have to work on the chip but i dont know if it possible at all

 

It can be done. What motor setup exactly?

Most guys with cams with tight lsa's and high overlap run in open loop. Makes tuning easier so you dont have to worry about the nb o2 being tricked and the computer making unnecessary fuel changes. Kinda have to watch the wideband readings for this but even they can be somewhat fooled at idle since the motor will self egr. Just got to tune to give the motor what it wants to run best and somewhat take the sensor readings with a grain of salt.

I ran a 230/245 cam on a 109 lsa just fine in my 383. Its a fairly big cam.

 

ok im rebuilding my 350 tpi engine to a 383 hsr tpi , i have 2 cam in my hands right now the zz4 cam 112 lsa and the replacement supose to be better com camp #08-600-8 107lsa i dont know what will be the best choice i have the alluminium fully ported corvette heads 113 like the zz4 create engine heads...

 

if i can make a chip to run a 107 lsa cam , so what will be the best choice a zz4 208:221 .050 in duration with .474 int .510 ext 112 lsa or comp cam thumper 08-600-8 227:241 duration .050 in .518 int .503 ext 107 lsa both 1.5 rocker ratio ??
