Hello I have put a 89 chevy tbi setup on my 1979 IH scout. It runs fairly well but I am trying to tune it. I don't have alot of computer knowledge more mechanical.
System I am using
-ECM 1227747 from 89 305V8

-I have logged data with Winaldl and have downloaded aldltobin, and tunercat. I am trying to use aldltobin to smooth out my BLM table. I am trying to figure out how all this works before spending a bunch of money on burning equipment.

-My problem is this I just downloaded the stock bin for this ecm and I can't open it up in tunercat. Tunercat states (unable to open ecm file.) when I try to open the file it is a BIN file.
-Should I even be able to open this file in tunercat?


-Do I even need to look at this file in tunercat? or should I just use it with aldltobin? I feel pretty lost right now.....
