help understanding how to tune

Hi, I have been reading about tuning my 4.3l TBI motor and got winaldl and tunerpro have a chip burner coming in the mail.

Ok to start with i am working with a 69 jeep i swaped a 90 4.3l TBI v6 in
has a powerglide trans.

I am trying to figure out were to start. the motor and harness came from a c1500 pickup 4.3l and the ecm is a 1227747 from a van with a 4.3l

In winaldl i am get running rich code and a drp occured idle is ruff i also dont get any o2 log, blm or int the motor also wont rev past 4250.
do i need to add a vss and be driving to get that info?
The chip has AKMJ on it.
In tuner pro what would be a good bin to start with and what to mod and since i am a carb and points guy i dont know were to start or understand most of the stuff listed to mess with any help would be nice.
also when wiring it up i could not find a park/nutral wire and the has no pin or wire in the harness do i need it?
the van had a auto trans how should i set the new mod for my trans?

AKMJ.. OP says a 305 engine in above. I do not find it at Moates nor diy-efi.org? If .bin came from auto trans that is good.

Are you getting flag for CL I suspect not. do you have a functioning NB02 sensor? If so is it heated or not? In logs any sign of voltage shown?

DRP occurred that is good.

Does the BLM-INT show 128 not changing?

Wont rev past 4200. I would not worry about that just yet.

Running rich. What size injectors at what fuel pressure?

Sounds like 02 is not switching. I bet you are stuck in OL. Sensor could be bad. Do you have a CE-SES light functioning. If not you should add it. Does winALDL offer malf codes? I thought it does. Are there any?

Do you have headers? If so heated for sure necessary.

Heated makes no difference. I think heated is "on" when engine running only. Maybe another member can exlain which wire to use under dash. I dont have a SM for your ECM. You might want to located the pin outs for it. Must be here somewhere?

SES light is on pin A5, other side of bulb goes to +12. Should be a brown/white wire.
