Strange information spikes during datalog

Hey guys, please take a look at this and let me know what you think. I've been doing my own PROM tuning for years now and this is the first time I've had this happen.

When I click "connect" via tunerpro (key on, engine off) it connects, but the numbers all spike every few seconds. It also does the exact same thing when I turn the engine on.

All of the information shown spikes. Even the codes turn from ok to failed. However, the car doesn't seem to be actually throwing any codes. It happens so fast it's hard to even read what the numbers are spiking to, but it's really annoying to try to tune when this is going on.

What could be causing this information spike? Could it be affecting my computer's ability to function properly?

I am attaching a picture to show you what it looks like after sitting there for a few seconds with the car not running.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
