Tunerpro channels

So, I'm hooking up a wideband on channel one. The wiring is done, but I can't figure out how to properly edit the def file. I'm on V5, I don't know what to put in the "packet offset" or "equation" in the conversion chart. I've been reading different posts and I have to some how shoehorn in byte 67 somewhere.

Re: Tunerpro channels

I'm assuming you are using the autoProm with the external inputs.

This explains much of it for the 730 ecm (and another)
See if that answers your questions.

Re: Tunerpro channels

I've read that thread over and over. I used the equation part, but don't know what to do about the packet/ (h/d) and where to input channel mode.

Re: Tunerpro channels

What mask are you running?
Whatever the packet size currently, you will be adding the extra channels at the end.
If $8D then they start at 65.
Other masks with less data items have a lower starting number.
the sequence of the numbers is the same just the beginning number would be after the current data.

Re: Tunerpro channels

The $61 has only 20 items in the datastream so your numbering should start at 21.
(Entered into the "Packet Offset" for each value)
If just enterering the numbers into the "values" does not show any indication change,
try going to the Commands, 160 baud and edit the payload size to 26. (increase from 20 to 26 for the 3 extra channels)
I never got a clear indication if that addition to the payload size is needed but seems to me it is.

Try this:
Channel 1 = 23-24
Channel 2 = 21-22
Channel 3 = 25-26

Use 16 bit settings for each value.
The actual scaling value is only 10 bits so whatever range you use is divided by 1024 for the full range.
