Looking for a Manual bin for 16197427 PCM

Looking for a Manual bin for 16197427 PCM. Was there ever one from GM? Maybe I am dreaming but I swear I saw one somewhere...

Re: Looking for a Manual bin for 16197427 PCM

I've got these:
BHFM, $0D, 1994, S1, PFI 2.2L L4(CAL), Manual, 8505
BHRD, $0D, 1994, L1, CPI 4.3L V6(FED, ALT), Manual, 6395
BNBJ, $0D, 1995, L1, CPI 4.3L V6(EXP), Manual, 7427

I think they all came from the Moates server.

As far as I know, there are no V8 manual bins.

Thanks! Looks like that export one may be best to start with, then import some 5.7L paremeters...

EagleMark, are you looking at a manual bin because of a tranny or other tuning parameters? Converting a $0D bin to manual is fairly simple,
L400E FCB $04 bit 2 on for shift light
L400F FCB $98 bit 8 on manual trans bit 4 cat overheat, and bit 3 knock retard.

That's pretty much it.

Thanks Jim I will look for them. So far my research showed the 4.3L to be the only manual trans bin for that ecm/pcm... then I found there are 2 in CA because of emmissins the vehicle needed the EGR pintle operation.
So GM used their 427 instead of a 7747... but I think it was the 395.

I agree with jim_in_dorris, just convert a V8 bin over to manual. I'll be a lot simpler.

Taking both your advice!

Reason I was looking for a manual bin was not knowing if changing an auto bin to delete/auto would end up with the decel valve type situation that manual trans had even before ECMs. I think it was installed as a pollution control device but did make driving a manual trans shifting easier.
