Hi,I know this is a real newb question here but i cant seem to find my awnser on the forums.Im positive i must have over looked it if its here apologies in advance if so.

I have recently purchased the autoprom apu1 package and im in the early stages of learning to tune.I have sucsessfully been able to burn and customize my chips not to mention datalog and emulate.
The issue im having i belive to be an adressing issue.I want to take a look into my stock chip and probe around to veiw its settings and such.It is a stock ABWT JL27C128A chip.I select the appropriate chip in the drop down menue of TPRT , But it gives me a error:Memory range and or/address out of selected eprom size. The 256 seems to work but when i load the bin i see a bunch of zeros for the scalars.Seems as though its not really reading it or translateing it properly.Tho the proper ads/xdf ect is loaded correctly or i assume.

Could somone point me in the right direction with this? Thanks alot.

 

OK It figures as soon as i make a post i think i got it. I had to match the adress in the lower field.duh! Please delete this thread.

 

formulax4 - I am glad the mods did not delete the thread as per your request. See, I just got the same stuff as you and I'm also just starting out. It's good to read this coz I may take the same route. It's nice to be proficient with chip programming, but as newbies we learn from other peeps misfortune. I am not ready to do any diagnosing yet coz I'm still playing with modifying the harness. I will start my own thread and need a lot of help from all. So please do not delete any threads. Thx.
