so this along the lines of doing a manual VE tune without power enrichment mode on.

i also want to shut off fuel cut off on deceleration, so i can drive my car around and get a good datalogging and tune the ve tables correctly then put the accel and decel on. is there a write up on how to do that too? which are these options?

I don't see how disabling DFCO will help tune the VE tables. Anytime DFCO is active, is when the engine is come back down to an idle or near idle, as in vehicle decel, when you don't want fuel to be injected anyway.

 

WHen they extra fuel you don't ned hit that hot exhaust, get ready to blow apart your muffler system at a weak point. Ask how I know..........

Dont forget to turn back on PE. I dont think PE will be invoked if you are easy on throttle and creap up on rpm/map you desire to log. See what DFCO tables offer. you may be able to change one to disallow its use. I will see what mine are.
