reading out bin on chips

I have a Prominator hooked up on the ol' beast. If you are familiar with them, they can store eight different programs or bins/burns which are switch selectable.

One bin in particular works well at solving some issues I've had , but do to keeping bad notes on the matter, I can't remember what bin (burn) I loaded into position #4.

I have no clue if I can reverse the process to read what burn is in the chip at that position. I can datalog, but I don't see anything in the log that tells me which burn I'm recording, much less the settings that created it.

I'm using Tunerpro V4 at this point.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

Re: reading out bin on chips

Apparently the Prominator software won't allow the user to read out a BIN. However, there is a verify function. Use that on each BIN you have to see if you can find that one that matches what is in the Prominator.

To keep track of BINs I use and recommend that the tuner use the PROMID value in the calibration.
