Sorry, Know this has been cover 1000 times probably.. Which pin do I input the 0-5 output from WB on 7730? I do not care to change code, I am fine with converting the signal when I need..

Been searching but getting mixes results it seems.. Can I even do it without changing code?

Really do not wish to use SuperAUJP either being my bins varies so much from stock it would take me forever to get back to where I am..

 

You could use the oil temperature input. That is in the ALDL stream as byte 38, and is a raw unconverted value.

Pin F12 on the '7730

The only downside is that there is a 348 ohm PU to +5 volts on that input. So need to check if the WB output has a series resistor. If so will need to compensate for the voltage multiplier effect.

I dont think anything is used on F14? Could you write an input there in the code? I think on my 7730 with code $59 I use that pin for wideband input...

Which pin is AUJP patched for? If I recall, doesnt SAUJP take a 0-5 volt WB input and record it in the "target AFR" field in the datastream ?

That is an option for me, but I really did not want being I have changed so much in my bin over the years it would take me forever to get all fields transferred over.. Seems everytime I have tried something is wrong,

 

You using tunercat? The latest tunercat will import all calibration from one bin to another..

If you are using tunerpro with tables TC doesn't know about however, that is probably another story.

I just recently relaized it would control my burn 1 from menu as well, but noticed if you read a bin, modify and rewrite it does not save changes to bin, Guess you have to save as new then re write..

I will give it a shot, will be nice if it work out.. Especially due to extended VE table.. So which Pin is it with SAUJP for WB input?

I noticed this a few times in tunerpro. If I made changes to a bin and saved over it, burned it and try it in the ecm, the car wouldnt run right. It wouldnt burn right. If I take a file, make my changes and save as another name, it works fine. ??? not sure why that is. Oh well.

I'm sure you are aware of this, but tunerpro rt has a difference tool feature where it will list alll the differences between one bin and the other so you can track all your changes easily. Dont see it being able to swap all those changes at once, so you still have to go thru and edit things one by one til it all matches but atleast you know all the changes.

 

I'm in the process of adding all the extra SAUJP flags and such to the tunercat VDF. I'm not putting it in the TDF, as I'm using the newer version of TC which uses the new format. When complete, I'll upload it to TC and ask that they distribute it to any registered owner of the $8D VDF/TDF.

So, on AUJPv4, according to the docs you need to set the bit that corresponds with your WB, then you have a choice between like A3 or F13 or something like that. Download the 1026 version of SAUJP from moates, and read the PDF. There is some 'setup' you need to do before you begin tuning.
