Stock EPROM isn't in my P.Programmer software list. Help pls!

Hi,

I'm burning/reprogramming a stock eprom without desolder it from the memcal.

The erase process was succesfully, but my programmer sofware ask for eprom brand and type, but this stock GM eprom has the following printed codes in its brown surface section:

014
045915
AM8827B

(Memcal pulled off from an 1989 2.8 V6 olds. with 1227730 ECM).

This "AM" eprom is not in my list from the programmer software.

What can I do in order to burn the eprom choosing the right brand - type for programming process ?.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks in advance,

Denis V.

That is a National Semiconductor 256 kb EPROM. Try it as a 27C256 device.

Thanks a lot!

I tried but it seems my eprom is failed since only save new data from 0000 to 2606 internal location. From 2607 to end, this eprom still with "FF" (erased data).

Thanks again,

Denis V.
