Finally Success: ICM O2 OL Emulate now...
Thanks to all here for your support.
I swapped out my new 2nd ICM and Coil after doing Code 42 test all signs pointed to ICM again ut I realized I had loose bolts to the coil and probably not snug on ICM last time. Anyway fired right up.
I have been battling O2 sen. old one replaced after no closed loop. Put in a 14point7 WB but it was DOA. pegged at 1v NB and read 0 on wb and I could not for life of me to get it read into the 165 aldl stream on bit 25-31 gave up after car was stuck in open loop and smells rich
Well new NB o2 and it took 5 minutes for car to warm up in open loop idles at 1000-1200 park.
But it kicked in CL and swung from 70 to 800mv and stayed closed idle improved and sounded better as ECM took over.
Still sounds cammy for stock 88 lb9 305 like miss or something. or crappy open pipes or shot muffler.
I also finally did this all thru emulate mode and played with maf table 1 a little until it stalled. SO I got that working I think I burn a chip now!!!!
S0 assuming my o2 works and my icm wont crap out car still (i suspect) will bog and feel sluggish., I put in 8oz of seafom on 10gall so it is blowing nice white exhaust (this is normal right) for now
I alos ohmed injectors hot they look like original but maybe replaced by PO 5-10 yrs ago plugs looked very clean all of them were 17.5ohm almost exactly. But I have a new set of soutbays right next to me just in case.
So how is best way to datalog to tune and check blm. I like to lean it out (i suspect) at idle and probably needs gas at wot.
tunerpro records but doesn't seem anyway to replace BLM realtime values? is there another software to read the xdl files?
