Help out a beginner?

Been a member here for 15 years or so. Can't remember my old password and the email linked to it has been long since closed so I made a new one.

Engine has been swapped and now it's having a hard time starting.
'88 GTA 5.7 bored .030
Holley Stealth Ram
Ported AFR 190 heads
1.6 full rollers
.525/.525 219/219 112cl cam
I think the new torque converter is 2400

EGR is gone, as well as the cold start valve and Evap system. I'm assuming the car is still trying to use the cold start even though it's not there.

I ordered from Moates tonight:
GP1
Burn2
Ostrich2
ALDU1 / CABL1
Innovate MTX-L
TunerPro
I've got the 165 ECM and ordered all this per the recommendation on their website.

Can someone help me out a little? I'm not quite sure where to begin.

Re: Help out a beginner?

Need to do some reading first. There is the tuning guide book sticky up top. Some of it is dated but will get you started. Read the BIN from your car and get the correct XDF file for Tuner Pro. Can then start to look at things.

At first just need to get up to speed with the lingo. Note that the tuning guide book has a section on the '7165 ECMs. Lots of good links in it.

RBob.
