14Point7 Spartan2 WB and EBL
14Point7 Spartan2 WB and EBL
Looking for someone who has used the Spartan2 set up. I was using the LC1 with no issues until I melted it, changed over to the Spartan2 using same wiring and just picked AEM WB on the EBL drop down assuming 0-5v, 10-20afr would work but it's not working correctly. Not sure whether to play with different make options Bob has or to look further. his comment...I can PM a log.
The voltage scale is for the NB with the AFR scale being for the WB. Need to look to see if they cross at 14.7, which they don't. They are crossing closer to 14.0:1, which is incorrect.
Regards,
BobR.

Not sure about the spartan, but I think on some of the other 14point7 units the output curve is programmable. Could be wrong, I have an SLC that I havent actually used yet.

With the WB sensor operational measure the voltage at the EBL terminal strip. Use the ECM case for ground. Plug that voltage into this equation:
AFR = Volts * 2 + 10
It should match what the WUD is showing.

I will measure that. Also was emailed that the LC-1 wb matches better, the AEM has a different curve.
From the reading I have done, looks to me that I have a WB controller that needs to be used with a ecu (Megasquirt) that has on board calibration.
