Tuner pro

Hi, I have a new laptop and I'm attempting to download tuner pro (no RT) but after downloading Tuner Pro V5 I don't see the Acquisition tab. I believe this is where the data stream file (adx or ads) is saved into, correct? Is it because Tuner Pro does not offer this feature and I have to download the RT version? At this time I am not interested in tuning but data logging only for diagnostic purposes. Also, the only files I see in the Tuner pro web site are Super_8dm2.ecu (bin definition) and 1227730_8D.ads (data stream). Do I have to get another file for data logging? Thanks

Convert the ads to a adx or download the adx .

Re: Tuner pro

You need the RT version of TunerPro to data log the ALDL stream.

Ok. But, is that a recent change? As I said before I had Tuner Pro in my old laptop and I was able to datasteam. Just to clarify, when I say datastream I mean able to see MAP, BLM, and all that.

Re: Tuner pro

Hi,

Been a long time. I installed a HSR and I was wondering whether I need to re-tune the chip or not. Also, I'm planning on replacing the cam and heads, so, if a re-tune is needed, should I wait until the can and heads are replaced? Thanks.

Re: Tuner pro

You could probably see some benefits of a retune with the HSR. It'll flow sufficiently more than the TPI above 4500, but my guess is though you'll run out of cam shortly after that.

What does your Tunerpro data say in terms of your BLMs?

Re: Tuner pro

1. Download Tunerpro RT, and pay Mark Mansur what you owe him for his time and effort. If you are serious about doing this, get the best version and pay the man.
2. You have a speed density car. Of course you need a re-tune after an intake swap like that. It will run ok I’m sure, but you will be leaving power on the table.
