V6 chips

V6 chips
can I use the chip out of a V6 mpfi computer as a base fro a performance chip? I mean if it is earased can it be burned and used in a V8 computer? Both computers were from maf systems. I'm pretty new to chip burning and want to practice a little before I go for broke.

The limp home circiut, knock filter, and a bunch of other stuff are all wrong for a V8.
And now that you have absolutely no use for it, may as well just send it to me, since I do V6 work.
