Does anyone care to help?

Hey Guys,
I have gotten a couple of logs of my new setup and was wondering if any of you guys that are the "experts" would want to show off your knowledge and shed some light on what I am looking at. I have been reading and reading and have become quite addicted to this stuff. I am really wanting to learn and thought you guys could maybe give a helping hand to help with the initial diagnosis. Logs are available upon request, I don't know how to post them otherwise. Thanks a million and I look forward to hearing from you all.

1. What changes to the fuel would you guys make? It seems to be running a bit lean.

2. That would the timing be, remember I have no EGR crap.

Thanks to all that help...

Well I guess that is going to work either. If you care to help out, just post and I will send you an email with it. Thanks.

Yep, you're quite lean in some areas, especially at idle when you manage to max out the BLM and INT. Looks like you need to work on the MAF tables some. If you're not using the ARAP bin as a starting point, you should at least transfer over the MAF tables and scalars, then go from there. Trending the BLM against the MAF readings will show where you need to make the changes in the MAF tables. You were plenty rich at higher airflows/throttle openings, although you have toom much timing in some areas as evidenced by the huge increases in the knock count. I'd be curious to see if you can max out your MAF sensor with this setup. I think I'm very close, but I need to go make a decent WOT run to check.

Greg,
Thanks for the reply. Did you have any problem viewing the info? When I click on it, it a dead end and I am not real good with this web posting stuff. Anyways, I found a HUGE vacuum leak last night on the runner to manifold interface. I think that is contributing to my VERY lean idle condition. Tonight I will take it all apart and I am going to order some SVO #24 injectors too. That should cover the fuel supply pretty well. I did a couple of WOT runs and I don't think I will max out the air. I could be wrong, but we'll have to see. Yes, it is the stock ARAP bin. Only minor changes, such as fans and disabling the EGR function. This intake leak will take care of the lean idle condidtion I suspect. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for taking the time to review these for me. Its most appreciated when people can take the time out to help others. Thanks again.

I had no problems looking at the files, although I saved them first then looked at them in Excel. Yep, a vacuum leak will really throw things off. I made a WOT run this morning and hit 253 gps compared to 240 gps before the SLP runners. I still need to port out the runners and plenum some more, so I'll be maxing out the MAF soon enough. Glad I could help.
