actually u can first try leaving it open and it should work ... if not use a 10 K for R3 and u should be just fine ... thats one of the cirtcuts that works 100%

tell me what happens though cos im curious... as i remember right the 92 RS my buddy has no pin E for this circuit to work ... but if u have pin E great go ahead and try...

(when i say a pin a connecter will be there in the place (not an open hole))

pin E = 160 baud u are building the circuit for

well its as simple as this ... ur pins A&B

A- gnd
B - mode select pin

and E is the Data pin ... if u dont have pin E ( metal piece in the E slot) then ur connector wont work its useless.....

then ur alternative would be to go to PIN M the PIN thats directly below A (which is 8192 baud)
(the 8192 is a whole lot faster which means more samples / second)

this has a different circuitry,... more complicated circuit and a different software....

so go out there and check if u have the E pin

Some ALDL connectors have the 160 baud data in another pin and some transmit both 160 baud and 8192 baud on the same pin (but not at the same time).

No, I have not written anything for the 8192 baud.
