this summer I might build a 383 or a 350 bored .060 over. put on alluminum heads, cam,headers about 9:5.1 compression and all the trick parts. I plan on starting programming eproms too, but untill I get the hang of it and get a good one would my car at least run? I konw I probably won't get max performance outta it, but would it run? thanks for the time

 

Heavily depending on the cam, it should run. Most likely it will have problems idleing and have annoying driveability problems, but it should at least run with that MAF system. A SD system will be much less likely to deal with a drastic engine change (like going to a 383).
