Ok, while under my dash digging for a hole in the firewall to run wire through I had a brain storm. Instead of having my wire run through to splice in where the fan relay is, couldn't I just splice the wire right at the ECM? I found 2 green/white wires going into the ecm. there's 2 connectors on the ecm and each one has a green/white going to it. which one am I going to splice into?

 

Ok. so can anyone tell me what the other dark green/white wire that goes to the ecm does? All I *REALLY* would like to know is if the fan relay wire comes back to the short or wide connector on the ecm. TIA

 

It should be the short plug. I believe it's the C1 wire.

I tried it. wrong one It was the longer connector. but the switch works beautifully though, so I'm happy.

 

There's a hole for the hood release cable with a gromet around it. If you expand it, you could get a couple of wires through there.
