I bought a '85 Z with the leather wheel,... the genius that had it before me had the horn off ,.. all I got with the car was two horn covers... not even the backs for them. From what I can see, the contact for the sliding contact is broken off flush in the wheel there. Is there anyone there who can tell me what else I am missing? Was there just a extension on the contact tower there up to the horn button or what? If anyone has photos, schematics, ANYTHING, it'll help me. I am not sure what I need to find as far as parts goes,.. I want to make the horn functional again. I have had a few columns apart,.. but none with a wheel like this. Also if anyone has these parts or even another wheel like this for sale, etc.. lemme know? THANK YOU in advance for your help.
