new starter

new starter

the guys at car parts told me that it was a quick job, i just don't really know how to put it in. can anybody help me out?

From what I remember, disconnect your negative battery cable, drop your y pipe, remove your inspection cover, remove all wires on the starter, loosen both starter bolts, then remove one starter bolt, securely hold the starter with your other hand and remove the last bolt. Be careful it is an akward angle and the starter is heavy.

You can get the starter out w/o removing the y-pipe but, it makes it a bit more of a challenge like that.
