hypertech chip

i bought a hypertech chip for my 305 LG4. and...I dotn knwo much about chips so I was wonderig where it went...?

It plugs into your ECM, tucked up behind the dashboard on the passenger side.

alright thats what i thought. Im curious also like is there a stock chip in there or soething that i need to take out, and plug the hypertech one in there, or if i need to look for some other kind of hookup.
