Has any one replace there std. wipers with the delay ones? I know a new wiper motor and the new delay wiper switch will be needed, but is there anything else like a delay box or something? Will it wire up easily or does it require an entirely different wiring harness? Thanks

The electronic delay module is actually in the wiper motor housing, under the removable black plastic cover. The switch assembly that goes with the delay wiper setup has a potentiometer (variable resistor) built into it to vary the delay cycle time.

So, if i got the correct wiper switch and a new motor with the delay in the housing, would it work, or would some rewiring have to be done? thanks

No rewiring should be required. Both the delay and non-delay setups use 4 wires between the switch & the control module under the hood - pink, purple, dark green & gray.

Ok, Thanks. I'm going to order the new switch and get the motor and give it a try. If successful, i'll post a tech article on the conversion process.
