Fog light switch to turn on fans
How could I wire up my fog light switch to turn on my fans? Could I get them to come on without having to turn on the parking lights? Thanks

You would have to cut the yellow & purple wires going to the fog light switch & then connect the yellow wire from the harness to the purple wire from the harness - this would make the fog lights come on any time the parking or head lights (with high beams off) were turned on. Then connect the purple wire from the switch to chassis ground, and connect the yellow wire from the switch to the negative side of the fan relay coil. The negative relay coil wire colors are as follows: dark green / white (single fan, or primary cooling fan in a dual fan setup), gray or dark green / white (secondary cooling fan). The "on" indicator light bulb in the fog light switch will no longer function, however, the switch illuminator bulb will still come on with the cluster lights.
