Speedometer quit working after plug change, getting a code 12

I changed my plugs yesterday, then went for a drive today and noticed the speedometer was not working, I figured I pulled a wire loose somewhere, so I checked all the wires and nothing is loose, checked the codes and I just get the 12 flash over and over, flash pause flash flash long pause flash pause flash flash. Is that normal for no codes? I know it's supposed to flash 12 3 times and then give the codes but all I get is 12, other than the speedo everything works and it drives good, thanks for any help.

if it only flashes 12, then there are no codes being thrown.

That probably means something between the ECM and the speedometer is messed up. If something between the ECM and the signal generator at the transmission were messed up, you'd get a code 24.
