Turn signal flasher? Where is it?

My turn signal flasher went out. It doesn't flash anymore, it just stays on. Where is it located? I do not want to scrounge around my car looking for something simple. Thanks! I am replacing it later on this afternoon along with those expensive brake lights.

Not really sure on an '89, but an '85 I had, it was attached to one of those retarded c-clip things that in turn was mounted to the steering column - way the hell up in there. In my '91, I think it's on the flip side of the fuse panel by the steering column that holds relays, buzzers, etc. I hope I was a little help - maybe someone can give you an exact location. Also it should be in your owners manual, if you have it.

If your turn signals stay constantly on, it usually means you have a bad bulb someplace, so check that first.
