ARGH!!!!

my temperature light comes on and stays on after the car is running..sometimes it cuts off and it says OK..but then it will come back on...it doesnt go off..even if the car is cold....im goin to put a new sensor in it......where is the sensor?.......and if this doesnt fix the light problem ......what else could keep the light on .... its an lg4 1984 ..305

Check my response to your previous post for the location of the sensor. The wire going from the cluster to the sensor may be shorting to ground, which would cause the light to come on intermittantly, as well.

thanks......i checked your msg to the old post but i left another msg on it and u never replied. nm that.....thanks.....hopefully this wire is grounding under the hood....i bet its hard to take the dash off.....btw does the wire have a fuse or a fusable link anywhere?

No fusible links in the temperature monitor circuit.
