HeadLights and Instrument Lights won't Turn On! Help

Hi Guys,
I went to drive my 90Z last night, and nothing happened when I turned on the head Lights! The instrument panel lights also did
not work. I checked the fuses and everything
was ok. Is there anything else I should be
aware of?

Any help would be appreciated!

Tommy

I once worked on an 89 GTA that had a similar problem, but I'm not sure if the headlights worked or not. Whatever. Anyways, i pulled out the rotary switch/wheel that controls dimness and when you take the whole thing apart, you get to the resistor board that is just a flat piece of silicone with a resistant layer on it. The car in question had somehow suffered from a short circuit that melted clear through the electrical pathway on a metal connection on the board. A bit of solder and it was good as new. Best of luck.
