heat, blower motor CFM, air conditong WTF?

Second problem im freezing my A** off in this car. vents throwing luke warm heat(170 termostat) third problem is a summer problem I die of heat... AC does not cool off car.(full charge r-12)
Please help I did not have these problems in my corvettes or grand nationals

First make sure the blower motor has a good clean ground and check the air ducts for leaks especially around the a/c evaporator. As far as heat goes, change the thermostat. I went from a 180 to 195 and the difference was night and day. my car got warmer, faster and the vent blew nice warm air. Your a/c problem may be difficult to diagnose without a manifold gauge set. Anyway make sure the condensor is receiving good air flow and is not encrusted with bugs and leaves. Another thing you can do is turn the a/c on and jumper the low pressure cutoff switch so that the compressor runs continously. Give her a couple minutes to run then check for ice on the lines. Any ice indicates a restriction which will screw everything up. Obviously this will only work when it is warm out, wait fo a 70' day. Other than that you really need a gauge set to find out what is wrong. A/c work typically is not diy work. Did you hear about the guy that decided to charge his system at home with a pound can? He plugged the can in on the high side and started the car to make it charge faster. Well even that wasn't fast enough for him so he stuck the can between his legs and reached over to rev the engine. BOOOM!
