Blowing Fuses Please help

I have a 1988 GTA. I have a big problem. MY car keeps blowing a fuse. It is a 25 amp fuse that is for my heater fan. IT sucks. I don't know what keeps blowing it. BUt I have noticed that if I replace the fuse i can start my car and it will work but then when I am driving down the road it will randomly blow. I was thinking maybe a loose wire keeps grounding out or somehting whne I hit bumps. I dont' know.

What you should do is route the wire back to the heater fan, and see is there is any problem with your wiring. My friend had to do this and he found there was a sopt on the wire that was hitting a ground, and blowing his fuse. If u want an easy way out, try puting in a 30 fuse, and see what happens. i dont recommend it, but it could very well help.

86bird,

I also have an 88 GTA and I also have a fuse which blows out again and again, but lasts for a while before it blows out. It is the accy fuse, which has a thousand different wires on it. Let me know if you solve your problem !!! Good luck.
