CTS keeps failing, electrical problem????
I have replaced my coolant emp sensor 3 times in the past 12 months. About every 12 weeks I get a code 15. I don't know what is going on. I soldered the connections on the new harness and applied dielectric grease to the sensor plug. This is really starting to get on my nerves. Does the cts wire directly to the ECM harness. Should I replace the entire length of the wire? Could the failures be caused by old, dirty coolant? I was told that this could be an electrical problem such as a short somewhere. Thanks.
