Power Hatch Release and Pull-down

Was it possible to get both in one car from the factory? I have the pull down and would like to wire the hatch release switch i just found in a trans am to my car. can i wire it to the pull-down somehow or was there a separate solenoid that i need?

Yes, you could get both on the same car. Assuming you are talking about the system where you pull the hatch down, and after it makes contact it automatically goes down the rest of the way. My Camaro has that pulldown and the automatic release.

I'm prety sure you will need a seperate solenoid for a release. You may be able to use one out of any car that has an ELECTRIC trunk release, but not the cable type.
