Performance Plug Wires
Performance Plug Wires
Who makes the best FITTED, not universal, spark plug wires for a 350 TPI camaro? Two of my universal Accel 8.8 boots ripped when taking them off to install headers and I don't want to go the PITA to custom fit them
again. Any help is appreciated. Also Who makes the best oversize gaskets for having a stock tpi manifold base being ported to?

Did you use silicone grease on the interior wall of the boots, before installing them on the plugs? If not, the boots will rip off fairly easily when removed from the plug. I have tried Taylor, Jacobs, and TPIS (MSD may also make a pre-cut version, but I've only tried their universal set) pre-cut wires - they were all well constructed.
Felpro 1204 intake gaskets are 1.23" x 1.99" & work well for a porting template on the heads & intake. They also include heat riser block off plates. Also, Felpro 1444 header gaskets are 1.38" x 1.38" & work well as a template for the exh side of the heads.

BEST = Packard Electronic GMPP Racing wires - over $200 a set unless you work for GM. You can get the red 8MM ones for about $75 from scoggin dickey, plus they are waranteed so they're the last you'll ever buy.
