Tempted to use Higher Amp Fuse in Accy

My 20 amp accy fuse blows out after about an hour, sometimes less. I am tempted to put a 25 amp in there to see what happens. My concern is that the Computer Command Control is supposedly on this fuse too. Would 25 amps be dangerous to the CCC ??

Thanks,

The fuse is there to protect you from a short circut condition. If you have added more devices to that circuit then you may need a large fuse. If this circut worked fine before and you have not added anything new than something in the circut is drawing more current. If you put in a larger fuse then you are allowing that device to draw more current, heat up and either start a fire or the unit that is causing the problem to finally fail. To determine which device is drawing to much current put an amp. meter in the circut and start to disconnect each item to see which one is causing the excess current draw.
