ok...when he tried to retrieve the code there was an open circuit or something....there was a E for error displayed to him. he has the same little box that GM dealers have. i must have messed somthing up when i was down there trying to bypass it. he said if i pulled on any of the wires it could ahve broke em and caused this circuit break....so he could not get the code. needless to say he was pissed i wasted his time. but he was gonna charge 200 to do the job. sooo...now i dont know what to do....some guidance would be great right about now. he said the cylinder might have to be replaced cuz of the wires comin down the steering column or the wires goin to the module or whatever could have been messed up. but when i did have a key for it...it started fine....so i had to of messed something up. any help guys?? please.

p.s. if you dont have a SPARE ignition key....get one!!! the 40 dollars you spend today will save you 200 tomorow.
