Help!!!
I own an 86 TransAm. The headlights won't go up or down. They will if I do it manually. I have replaced the relays. All three. Checked the wiring. The motors are good. I can make them work by jumping them with the battery. Any ideas? Would it be the switch itself?

Thank you steve for the killer info. You saved me 133.00 + sales tax. I was able to remove mine without pulling the headlight, or housing, and like yours I had a triangle lock-up space full of plastic shavings. thank you again<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by scauffiel:
