A few wiring questions
A few wiring questions
I am hooking up a adjustable fan relay and have a few questions. First which wire is the positive one coming out of the fan? Second which wire is the positive coming out of the a/c clutch? Thrid it says I need to hook up to an ignition source, should I just splice into a wire going into my ignition coil or is there a better place? Thanks in advance for any help.

an 'ignition source' means a wire that gets 12 volts when you turn the key forward to the run position. It has nothing to do with your ignition system.
as far as the fan wire.. the positive is the one that makes the fan spin in the proper (pull) direction when you connect it to the 12v positive post of the battery. Test it.
A/C clutch? I don't get what that has to do with the fan relay.

The positive fan wire has a stripe on it.
The black wire to the A/C clutch is negative, so connect the input to the fan control module to the other wire going to the A/C compressor, which is the positive wire. If you are unsure, use a volt meter to check the polarity.
The ignition coil power source (pink) wire is a good source for a low current draw accessory, such as your fan control module. Another circuit you may tap in to for ignition power is the pink / black wires going to the EGR, canister purge, and air control solenoids.
