just bought a 92 RS yesterday.., it's my 2nd 3rd gen, both have had cruise, but neither worked. My center brake light doesn't work either(didn't work in the 87.) Do these two have anything to do w/ each other. The blub isn't busted(that I can see) on the brake light, and I haven't had a chance to check for voltage. Where should I look to try and find the source and fix these problems.

Both my 91 Z28 and 92 RS had loose bulbs in the third brake light. Try removing the bulb and carefully prying out the contacts a little bit. That will make it fit better in the socket. Make sure its a good bulb, of course.

Also look carefully at the bulb socket, these tend to crack after awhile and the contacts get loose. Corrosion is also a factor.
Not sure what to say on the cruise, i'm still trying to fix mine with no luck. Tim Burgess sent me a schematic, if you can read those then ask him for one, it should help some.

thanks guys, I didn't think to check the bulbs fit in the socket. It seemed to fit fine, so I'll check voltage and whatnot tomorrow, otherwise I don't know.
