extra wires in hatch????ID em

i found some wires in my hatch (by the hatch pull down stuff) that are not connected to anything and i couldn't find anything to connect them to......perhaps they are for remote hatch (which my car does not have)? any way..there are 2 "harnesses/connecters".....#1 has 3 wires: one black/orange stripe, 2 red/white stripe. #2 has one wire: black, no stripe. both connecters are female ( so they dont go together) so experts, name those wires!

Do you have the rear cargo light option? Sounds like that's what it is.

Solid black connects to the hatch solenoid release. Since you don't have that option it won't be used. Red/wht is hot all the time. It connects to the blue wire coming from the hatch pull-down unit. Orange/blk connects to the white wire coming from the hatch pull-down unit. Lon

I'm not sure you read the post entirely correct lonsal.

#1 is supposed to be connected to a light
#2 I will agree with the solenoid

wanna try to figure out all my miscellaneous wires? I have plenty.
